Strathmore is named for Claude-Bowes-Lyon, who was the Earl of Strathmore and who was one of the benefactors of the Canadian Pacific Railway.

 

Location:  Strathmore is located in the south central part of the Province.

Description:  The building faces south and is a one story red coloured brick and concrete structure. he building is located on lanscaped grounds in the centre of Strathmore. The entrance is along the southeast side of the building with recessed glass walls. Above is a wide brown coloured section. On the roof is a glass pyramid. The northwest section of the building rises higher.
