County Courthouse – Enterprise

Description: The building faces southwest and is a two story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Enterprise. The southwest front has a large portico with six large white colored columns. The entrance is recessed. The first story has square arches with recessed windows. In the interior, the courtrooms are located on the second story. The building houses the Circuit Court of the 12th Judicial Circuit and the County District Court and Probate Court.
History: The county was divided in 1907 and the first courthouses in Enterprise burned. The second courthouse was built in 1916 and it also burned. The third courthouse was built in 1925. The fourth and present courthouse was constructed in 1998 to 1998.
