Channel-Port aux Basques was named for the fishermen from the Channel Island and the fishermen from the Basque region of France and Spain.

Description:  The building faces east and is a two story white coloured wood frame structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the centre of Channel-Port aux Basques. The front has a central projecting section with entrance on the first story. There is an entrance on the south side of the front, The red coloured roof is hipped. The courtroom is located on the second story.
