Description: The building faces northwest and is a four story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on the spacious grounds of the Virginia Beach Municipal Center. The northwest front has a projecting center section with entrance on the first story, three long vertical windows on the second and third story and pediment at the roof line. To the north and south are projecting sections. The roof is hipped. On the east side is an attached square building housing the Juvenile Court and the Circuit Court.
Old Courthouse – Virginia Beach
Location: 2408 Courthouse Drive / North Landing Road
Built: 1823 – 1824
Style: Colonial Revival
Description: The building faces southeast and is a two story red colored brick structure. The southeast front has a wide porch with four white colored columns rising to the roof line. The roof is hipped. An addition was added in 1959.
