Broomfield County is named for the broom corn that was formerly grown in the area.

Description: The building faces south and is a three story glass and concrete structure. The center section has a projecting section with dark glass paneling. The third story has horizontal dark glass windows. There are vertical dividers across the front of the building. The roof line is flat.

 

Note:  The courthouse is the first courthouse as the county was created in 2001.
