Description: The building faces north and is a two story yellow colored brick, glass and concrete structure. The building is located on spacious landscaped grounds to the north of the center of Roseville. The north front has a semi-circular glass section with a wide canopy extending from the roof line. Black colored tile faces the exterior of the center section. The east and west wings are yellow colored brick with large horizontal windows along the north side. The building houses the County Superior Court. The building is names as the Honorable Howard G Gibson Courthouse.
History: The court met in private homes and the Roseville Train Depot at 201 Pacific Street. In 1950, the court met in a building at Church Street and Washington Street. In 1964, the court met in the Veteran’s Memorial Hall at 110 Park Drive and in 1973, in the Civic Center Complex at 311 Vernon Street. In 1981, the court moved to Taylor Street and then to the present courthouse in 2008.
