Description: The building faces east and is a two story rectangular red colored brick , concrete and stone style structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Hornell. The east front has a portico with three arches on the first story and four white colored columns on the second story rising to a pediment at the roof line. The second story windows are arched. The roof line is flat.
History: The courthouse is the first and only courthouse built in Hornell.
