Description: The building faces north and is a two story buff colored brick, stone and concrete structure. The building sits atop a low hill on landscaped grounds in the center of Corning. The north front has a large projecting center section with two columns rising to the top of the second story and framed entrance. The framed entrance has a small pediment at the top. Above is a large pediment. The building has projecting eaves.
History: The first courthouse in Corning was built in 1854.
