Courthouse – Lac Brome ( Knowlton )

Description: The building faces south and is a two story red coloured brick, stone and wood structure. The south front has a large portico with four white coloured columns rising to a wide pediment at the roof line. At the top of the roof is an octagonal open white coloured cupola. In 1885, a vault was constructed. The architect was Jean Baptiste Derome of the Quebec Department of Public Works.
