Description: The building faces northeast and is a three story buff coloured brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped ground north of the city centre. The building was originally the Richmond School. The northeast front has a one story projecting entrance with two columns. The southeast and northwest wings extend from the main building. The room line is flat. The building houses the Family Court.
Note: The first school was destroyed in the Halifax Explosion of 1915 which destroyed many buildings in Halifax
