Wabush was named after the Wabush Mines, one of the largest mining companies in Labrador.

Description:  The building faces northeast and is a two story red coloured brick and concrete structure. The building is located on spacious landscaped grounds in the centre of Wabush. The northeast front has a recessed central entrance with an extended canopy supported by white coloured pillars. A wide concrete band runs along the flat roof line. The courtroom is located on the southeast side of the building. The building houses the Supreme Court and the Provincial Court.
